Why HappyTao?

The Wonder of Life

Why 'Happy Tao'?
The world is now undergoing a period of rapid transformation. What was once taken for granted is no longer true. Blindly following tradition therefore is sometimes harmful and limiting both to humans and to the environment. It seems that Humanity has blindly and mindlessly followed obsolete paths into extreme danger. Hence we are in dire need of collective as well as individual growth. If you are aware of the intensity and urgency of our era, and if you have the wisdom tomake this situation an opportunity for your Spiritual Awakening you will strive to attain radical transformation of your entire being. All those who stagnate and linger in the old paradigm will experience great anxiety and fear.. Form them nothing seems to be safe.

Though scientific discovery and worldwide development of technology and computer networks, our definition of reality is changing. We are at the door of a completely new version of reality. In this reality the world is no longer a separate entity or object, but a dynamic process which appears in the mirror of our consciousness. Therefore we cannot judge outside objects from a static, egoistic point of view; we human beings are not isolated individual beings, we are an interdependent part of the whole. You and I and the whole world are one organic life system.

You are an organic part of the life system and that system is living in you. Your transformation benefits not only you but the entire world. The division of 'In' and 'Out' is just an illusion projected by the ego mind. We must awaken to the fact that we have the responsibility and the capacity to change the fate of the world. Because everything is interconnected and interdependent; both influencing and being influenced by every other thing. This is the fundamental nature of the life system we are in. Hence it is vitally important for each of us to actively work towards self development.

We are responsible for our own thought and work. We are not just outside observers but active participants so we have our own contributions to make to the world. That kind of contribution can be facilitated by our own spiritual development and growth.

Happiness is our natural state. It spontaneously blossoms when we realize our own True Self and we understand that the True Self is a permanent source of happiness. Your only capital. True happiness cannot be taken or lost when your are firmly rooted in your True Self. Happiness is our birthright. Furthermore, it is our divine duty to remain happy because happiness resonates and is reflected outside as compassion and kindness. It echoes back.

We are all born with that seed of happiness in us. We are all endowed with the noble and precious nature that can flower as blissful perfection. The purpose of life is to discover that seed of bliss and let it blossom and spread its sweet fragrance all around.

This integration of our being is called Han, or Wholeness. Happy Taog guides you on this inner journey to uncover your True Self. The state of Han is expressed as integration of the individual with the worl; time with space; past with present and future; vision with reality; heart with mind, etc.
